DC Design EcoSport

Dc just released a slew of images showing their take on the Ecosport. The exterior modifications looks quite similar to their Duster, although in this case, it looks like somebody has gorged out the Ecosport's eyes and replaced them with cheesy LEDs.

The interior do looks upmarket and even the color palette used looks sober enough.

re: DC Design EcoSport

Like the LED headlamp treatment & love the grille.

Interior is predictable now, also whats with the AC blower doing on the ARM REST ? Its sucha small car it could have done without a rear blower.

Also no side, alloys pics ?

re: DC Design EcoSport

DC, I sincerely hope and pray that you do not take any more cars and spoil them by what you prefer to call 'Designs'. I do agree that DC was once making decent looking cars and concepts, but now they seem to have lost everything. Replacing head lamps with strips of LEDs and spoiling the bumper in the name of individuality is not cool!

Somewhere down the line, DC has to either start 'designing' or stop 'spoiling' designs. Oh! my eyes! What a fugly looking front end to begin with! Any pictures of the rear or the sides?

Positive side? for once they dint choose a gawdy looking red or green or blue for the interior!

re: DC Design EcoSport

Ecosport is a looker in the OEM form. This mod actually spoils it.

In fact, the changes to the interior highlights how narrow the space inside is!

Sorry to say, this guy DC, cannot design cars to save his life. Never liked any of his designs, right from the overpriced M800 and Zen kits he used to sell before, to anything he does not. Its just HIDEOUS.

re: DC Design EcoSport

Does the exposed radiator(?) break any rules without having a bumper. Also, I am not sure if those are DRLs or headlights

re: DC Design EcoSport

Typical DC not done in taste. Interiors look nice but the armrest is now rendered useless no? Whatever it is between the rear seats looks misaligned. Also I don't think anyone can "lounge" around in this. The car still looks extremely cramped. That inside rearview mirror looks cheap. :/

Is that a screen mounted on the dashboard? Looks pretty neat

re: DC Design EcoSport

The interiors look good.

The LED's could have been integrated into the headlamp, DRL sort of.

Just replacing the headlamp with LED gives it the look of Chinese eyes (no offence).

The grille is overdone, and looks completely out of proportion.

All in all, the front looks like "Jaadoo" from "Koi Mil Gaya"

re: DC Design EcoSport

When I clicked on this thread I half expected this was going to be ugly and was surprised to see that this one is hideous... Those headlights look awful.

I think DC is turning into a interiors company, which isn't bad. There is a market for better interiors for the same car.

Looks like a contraption straight from Dawn of War
Actually come to think of it - it does look nice in an evil way

re: DC Design EcoSport

Saw this car on weekend. Looks okay in flesh. I.e. does not look this hideous.

Somehow, I thought this was a "Duster" that was done-up by DC.

re: DC Design EcoSport

Seriously DC should only concentrate on interiors, must say they look fab. On the exteriors dunno why they are modified to such an extent that even some practical bits like lights and grills are replaced by other bits.

Manufacturers spend a lot of time and money testing various parts and such hideous mods not only changes their looks but their performance as well! The big question is who buys these modded pieces from DC

Headlights are inspired by the new Jeep Cherokee that came out a little while (months) ago

re: DC Design EcoSport

The OVRMs look out of place.

Are those fog lamps above the projector lamps ?

Who gives donor cars to DC ?

re: DC Design EcoSport

I don't agree with you guys, it at least still looks like an Ecosport!

But DC's transformation of the Thar (below) is beyond any sane person's comprehension!
