For i10 (facelift) the reverse lamp type is T20(921), the one in the picture above is Philips 921 Extreme ultinon LED. 921 is a larger and higher wattage T10 (194); bulb base is actually the same.

Re: LED Headlamp Bulbs are here! The end of HID?

For all the LED lovers who are lucky enough separate high and low beam units - these could be the ultimate LED retro fit. Much cheaper than Bi - LED projectors. Approximately 5200 INR for these seem to be good value.

If you have a H7 High-beam housing then you are even luckier, as these are meant to be a direct fit with minimal modifications!

The Retrofit Source has to be one of my favorite sites for headlight, fog light and aux lights. So far I have ordered Morimoto Mini H1 HID Bi-xenon's for my low beam housing and the Morimoto Matchbox for Fog Lamps. They have never disappointed on delivery and customer service!

The reverse lamp for almost all Hyundai vehicles is T16 aka 921 aka W16W. I think the 16 stands for 16 Watts

Bulb base looks similar to T10 but is wider compared to T10.

Base is exactly the same as T10, I have interchanged both in their holders and it fits perfect. But light assembly meant for T10 often have smaller diameter hole to suit the T10 and the larger T16 will not fit through into the reflector.

Crysta's reverse lamp is also T16 and marked as W16W on the reflector assembly.

Ok, you mean the body part above the base is wider in T16 and does not enter the reflector assembly with a T10 bulb opening.

Yes the part above does not fit through reflector hole into the assembly. The base fits in T10 holder.

These should be quite good as the LED arrangement is close to halogen. However look at a slightly more established brand like Oslamp:

Re: LED Headlamp Bulbs are here! The end of HID?

May I ask what is the bulb type for
- Reverse Lights
- Number Plate Lights
- Interior Lights

The car is a 2014 Fluidic Verna. The number plate lights have conked off. Looking to replace all off the above with LEDs. What are some good LED bulbs for the same and where can I purchase them from ???

No places per say in Bangalore. Your best bet is Aliexpress. If you want branded bulbs, then powerbulbs is the best. However, from my experience , the Chinese LED is more than sufficient as long as you are not putting the bubs in the headlamp assembly. The Chinese W5W(T10) Pilot lamps cannot withstand the heat of the headlamp assembly and start to conk off. For these places, Philips,Osram are the best. For all other applications, Aliexpress LED are more than enough.

I have replaced all the lamps in our 2010 i20 to LED except for Turn indicators and Headlamp bulb. Fog is running HID. Reverse, Rear fog, Stop lamp, High mounted Stop lamp, License plate lamp, Cabin lamp,Boot lamp have been converted to LED. Apart from having a sharp cutoff, LED also emit more light and run cool. The tail lamp assembly does not get hot at all even in peak summer. And at night, it looks brilliant from the rear when the lights are turned on!

Re: LED Headlamp Bulbs are here! The end of HID?

Philips has recently launched the Ultinon range of LED head lamp bulbs. They are available in H7 too which I guess is ok for my CIAZ high beam.

Any one have any experience of using these bulbs?
