Filling the hole in the Swift's dashboard

There's a hole in the dashboard of the Swift, right in the centre, just below the windshield. The hole is about one inch high, and six inches wide, with a curved back. (Will post a pic of it soon).

What could go in this slot? Temperature gauge? Digital compass? GPS reciever? Any ideas?

The hole is for the digital clock, which is already installed in the Zxi. Ask your dealer or some local car accessory shop for one.

I have a ZXI model swift they dont give any clock in it. U can install one if u need one any ways I have installed a clock temperature voltmeter in my swift in that slot here is the pic of the same....

thanks for corection... its the international swift that comes preinstalled with clock. even our desi indicas have one.

I've seen plenty of Swift ZXIs with the Maruti clock in that place!
Is it an accessory then??? Or the dealer didnt give you one, LBM!!

Must be an accessory. My Zxi also came with an empty slot.

Dealer quoted 600/- for the Baleno clock.

Hey LBM thats a nice piece of gadget..can you please gimme details like the price, make and availability of colors. i live in bangalore and am lookin for something of this piece for our swift Zxi.

Though i must say that the gap arnd is lookin a bit odd.

This is very shameful on part of Maruti.. they dont even provide the clock in the top version... how odd it must look for a car with climate control, to have that empty slot in dashboard....

even desi Indica taxis have one!

Man i got it from a accesory shop in delhi it is a cheap accesory U might get it from any good shop in ur area , or any thing else which might fit in that space.

And gap between does not look that odd which look in the pic....

Hi folks,
This could be a really late query on this forum. But do you have any ideas on how and where I can fix a clock on my NHC? My skin is allergic to a watch and clock on my audio system doesnt show up while on radio.
I have seen some after market clocks but they are really bulky and ugly.
