Looking for cheap sport tire dealers in Chennai

I am looking for aftermarket sport tires in Chennai for my Corsa SAIL. I've been to Majestic Tires on Casa Major Rd. (where I bought my alloys) and the prices quoted for tires seem a little high, for example:

Yokohama AVS Sport 195/50 R15: Rs.3900 per piece!

I have read several TBHP-ians' posts that bought similar Yokos brand new for about Rs.2300 a piece in Mumbai and Bangalore. Certainly they must be available in Chennai at those prices as well. Any dealer information is appreciated.

Well the ES100's 195/55/R15s are available for 3300 per tyre at bangalore i guess ..

Try Tyrestore at Greams Road.. they will give you a good deal..

Hi,

Either you have read wrong or someone has put a wrong price. Yokohoma's were never available for Rs2300/pc in Mumbai for the size mentioned above. BTW they cost Rs3000/- for the AVS sport in Mumbai.

I meant the Yokohama AVS ES100 (which I inappropriately called the AVS "Sport", which is a different tire). The pricing and details I have mentioned in my original post is for the ES100, not AVS Sport.

Thanks ravisak and headers for the contact information in chennai. Contacted all those guys, searching for Yokohamas and guess what I found. Toyo all season performance tires for about 25% less than Yokohamas.

Yokohama ES100 195/50R15 in Chennai: Rs.3900 per piece
Toyo Proxes FZ4 195/50/15 in Chennai: Rs.2900 per piece (at Chordias T.Nagar and Tirestore Greams Road)

These Toyos are not "Ultra" high performance summer tires but merely "High Performance" all season tires, but for almost the price of a stock tire. This is what the thread pattern looks like (the picture shows an FZ4 in a lower profile than mentioned above):
