Thanks a Lot Bro. We work very systematically. And not to mention the upgrades after the restoration.. It's going to be a nice drift car.
Working on Making a nice Lockable Diff for it. So it slides in easily. Pics coming up soon!

My target is to roll out the Car by 15th June. Lets see if I can make it. If the parts arrive on time i.e.

Hemank

Correction.. All subframes are Powder Coated (White) in the inhouse powder coating facility.. and the main chassis, has been painted..(Silver and Black)

Stage II to III Chassis

Enjoy some more before and After Pics.. Even small small components make a huge difference.

Not only have these parts been extremely carefully been cosmetically restored, but also functionally restored.. Yes, including the Wiper motor.

The Boot was so terribly rusted under the rubber coat. OMG. We removed all of it, wirebrushed, cleaned, primed and painted. Sorry detailed images will come up soon. for now, this is all I have..

Enjoy

Fantastic effort there! Can't wait to see the end result!

I did not reply earlier since it would break your flow of pictures. Oh well

Nice build and also you're saving a good driver's car. Never knew the older Miata came with pop-up headlamps.

That's some effort that you guys have given to restore this beautiful car. The work done shows a lot of patience in degreasing and coating. That oil? That looked like tar :O.

Re: Building Drift Cars - 1990 Mazda Miata

Good to see an old Miata getting a new lease of life. Looks like one fantastic build.

Where are you sourcing the parts from? Shouldn't it be called the MX-5 rather than the Miata, which was it's North American name? Not quite relevant to what this thread is about, but just wanted to confirm it nevertheless.

Thread bookmarked!

Sounds sensible. But then this is actually the flow.. With Interaction.

The end result should be up within 15 days.. I hope.

Thanks man. I really wish more such nice (rare for India) cars come in the light in the Indian Automotive scene.

Tar. Haha. You're right. But you know, in the end, when the parts are so nicely done, its nothing but pure satisfaction. Its this sense of awesomeness that you feel when the work's done, as its supposed to be done. Thanks.

Sourcing some parts from Japan, Some from US. People call it the MX-5 or the Miata. As long as it becomes pretty and goes sideways, it really doesnt matter IMO.

Will be updating you'll everyday with crazy stuff. Stay Tuned.

Good to see that you are spending lot of efforts to take care of every small detail/fixes. Can't wait to see the end result.
