Shop - RaceConcepts
Modifications -
Cars - turbos, intakes, freeflows, suspensions etc.
- Wideband tuning available as of now. Hope he will get car dyno soon.

Bikes - bolt on kits (I am not sure since i don't have bike. Details available on raceconcepts)
- RD's own bike dyno is available in the shop.

Raceconcepts is doing car and bike tuning for sometime now. I guess many people already have read threads on modifications by this shop.

My story with own Honda City 1.5 exi boosted is pretty old. I visited the shop for a solution for response being unsatisfactory for a boosted engine. I was advised that the ecu mapping should be changed. Joel hooked up wide band and remapped. This definitely changed the response.
Then i was having issue with intake getting chocked of air supply after 4k rpm. Joel suggested to put in an intake plenum since the old city came with carb type intake manifold and is not efficient in moving large quantities of air. It took a long time to decide what to do and finally installed it last week. Car has transformed literally to super responsive stuff.

Brakes - the stock nissin pads was giving lot of fade and was not giving any confidence to me. Installed Mintex pads and this has sorted out the brake fade and it is pretty good stopping power. This is without any rotor swap.

Suspension - Yet to be done since i am having worn out left suspension. Need to decide it.

Other than modifications i visit for regular oil change, coolant flush.

Location - Begurwoods, Begurroad. Bangalore Place is not so easily reachable is what i found out.

Made a trip to Mysore and Chamundi Hills. I was able to pull uphill in 5th gear until i had to overtake the bus towards the end of the climb. There was no juddering. Just feathered the throttle and car nicely pulled.

40kmph in 5th gear @1100rpm!!! + load +uphill!! WAAAAWW!!

I guess you're doing it here only to show how good a job Joel has done and you DON'T drive like this always!!

But if this is how you drive! Boy,this is exactly what the doctor "NEVER" ordered!! Its a disease called "LUGGING" and its more cancerous than AIDS! LOL!!

But, killer work Joel! Keep it up!

Re: Car & Bike Tuners - Race Concepts (Bangalore)

i am totally aware of what i am doing. I am married to turbo for about 6 years now. I don't always do this. Car will pull nicely on a straight from 20kmph to 160kmph (not gone above) in one gear. (But cannot mash the throttle). Now torque kills everything from 3k to 7k. This is given the bad state of plugs and clutch and some other things. things keep evolving. The manifold is beautifully made.
