Re: AccuAir Suspension on my Honda Civic

Just a small query, during your research for the kit, did you find any VFM kit (basic one, which will only allow adjustable height for the suspension)

You mentioned a $2200 kit, could you provide more details. Also anyone reliable in Mumbai who can pull off such a install smoothly?

Re: AccuAir Suspension on my Honda Civic

It would be great if you could come up with a complete reports with greater details from your driving experience. This could give more ideas about this premium product, and may also open door for market in our country where manufacturers fail to provide better ground clearance in some of the luxury cars, and just sell imports.

BTW, when we mention currency the symbols should come first especially for USD. For example, $2 is different from 2$. :-). Just my ¢2.

However, a lot of things said on the VFM aspect... I would say it is a personal choice and does not needs to be commented upon. That's what the enthusiasm is all about !! Follow your heart and let the eyes keep rolling - definitely a show stopper stuff.

What definitely is my concern is:

1.) Warranty & maintenance?

2.) Wear & tear on tires with the air suspension as the rear end seems to be extremely negative at the bottom which might result in extreme pressure on the inner threads of the rear tires at all times when the beast is lowered?

3.) Max & Min GC and chances of scraping on the speed breakers?

Suggest - Use a fresh coat of pearl white paint on the car with a contrasting shade of alloy rims (other than black) to get noticed - may a metallic gunpowder grey.

Height can be kept according your preference, mix and max depends on how then strut is set up. 6" adjustments to the strut and almost 6" bags allow the body to travel.

Accuair does boast about their high quality products, Warranty is still managed from usa.

Tyre's only bend at all down function, During normal drive position car runs like stock

The hunt for alloys has become a challenge, The confusion between right size 17,18 or 19, The right design and also convincing one self to atleast buy something for which i won't need to sell off a kidney.

Stance is the best in 19" but limited designs, practicality to drive as the profiled will go 35 and the recurring cost to replace the tyre incase i end up hitting a pot hole. Keeping all these factors aside my heart his set on Vossen Cv3 but..
So 18's seem as the size that is the best bet as the side profile will be more cost will be slightly less, But couldn't find the design which was as an instant hit as of now , Yet the hunt is still on. I should find something good soon

Until then stock wheels had to be removed so i borrowed the stock crv alloys from a friend and put 17" tyres on the car as a stop gap measure. Found these Kenda radials 225/45/17 to be a good set wheels to toy with being atleast 3k cheaper per tyre than yoko, For the first time ever i'm using such tyre's and my first impression is not bad for the price. Of course won't compare them to any Yoko, Michelin etc. But will rate than better than nangkang or maxxis.

Re: AccuAir Suspension on my Honda Civic

May I recommend the Mugen body kit itself? They look great on the Civic. The options are in plenty and most of them are simply bolt on as well. Do check out JDM for red logos and maybe a pair of eagle eyes also?! Car is really shaping up well.

The car looks stunning with the slammed setup, and the CRV wheels are going very well too. Now all the car needs is your special touch on the exteriors.

Contact Nikunj Malhotra (United Customz) at +91-9830535490.
He has the Red Honda Logos and lot of other stuff for the Civic as well.

Original JDM logos are quite expensive. I have been trying to get the red steering logo and they are all priced upwards of Rs 3500/-

Oh yeah. Originals definitely are a lot more. A pair was costing close to USD 90 on Amazon. What they have here mostly are good replicas.
