I am not too keen on installing the projectors at this moment. I have Morimoto lens on my Linea. I dont recommend projectors on single barrel headlights. You try 100/90 bulbs with cutout before installing projectors.

I always dreamed of such mod jobs but couldn't gather courage and time for such adventures.

The people you get to work on your car are so important and need to share the same passion, else its another repair job and not a restoration job...!

After a few years of neglect, I just spent a packet getting my 6 year Palio 1.6 Stile in ship shape mechanically. But she still is missing a few things. My mechanics although good don't share that passion, they just repair. Maybe when the time is right, I will PM you. I shoot car commercials, and follow this lovely forum closely but I don't post much. I have to say, your thread and restoration process has compelled me to do so..!

That is an A-W-E-S-O-M-E looking Palio buddy. Superb execution, have to hand it to Pandit Auto, brilliant she looks! Please oblige with better pics.

That said, personally, I would've avoided the red grille and painted the base of the ORVM in the matte shade. But it boils down to individual tastes at the end of the day. Also, I think it could do with one Palio badge at the rear. Let people know what they're breaking their necks to look at!

Loved the overall finishing of the car. Being from KL and having driven few souped up S10s, I can imagine the amount of fun you have with the car.
BTW, when you went for the 1581cc Siena engine, did you endorse the Engine number in RC? Else, AFAIK, the insurance people will deny claim if they come across different engine number and chassis mounting points.
Anyways, enjoy the car

These old cars have no engine nos. There is just a plate mounted in the engine bay. Chassis mounting points etc all are same.
Moreover even FASS or expert technician cannot make out its a 1581 CC. From outside everything looks 110% same.

There is no S10 in the pics. Its a palio NV. Also i dont think the common yellow cars are stealing the lime light from a custom painted unique car.

Your cowl panel has been damaged like mines. So you see water all over the electricals as well as on the floor. Its a very very common problem on a palio due to the design of the cowl.

Cowl is the part at the bottom of the front windshield?? Mine has quite some debris because I parked under the trees.

But as I said, I also noticed that water is dripping from some part above the dead pedal. Is it something related to A/C??

The cowl has an odd shape. Check my WIP snaps. IT runs from below the wipers to the inside of the car cabin. When damaged the water from below the wipers fall into the dash wiring and floor thru rusty channels.
