Nice suggestions bro! I'm seriously thinking about that 1.1 engine now. Turbo can wait.

I'll watch basic instinct while you drive and I wanna see how long you can drive without peeping in.

So, a Strut bar is better than going for a shock change?

Zak, I also have a free flow and k&n filter in my alto, So following the tradition of mods, i also went for the suspension upgrade. This is the suggestion that I got..

Mind you they do e-zens and b-zens.. You dont have to change the rear shocks as they work just fine, stiffening the springs on the front would do.
Got the entire thing sone for 3k. I am not a pro driver, Just a novice, So I took some opinions from my friend who is into rallying and he thinks it is just fine. So what do you say?

Koni suspensions are available in almost every cities of India.
'Methods' does the marketing here in South india. (Dont know about other parts). They sell it with Bill & Warranty. Each shock cost around 5k.

@Knightrider~
Thanx for the info man! And nice to know that more and more people are modding this cute car!

But do you have strut braces in your ride too? that'll make a sea of change I think!

And guyz! after all those kind suggestion from you all, I'm thinking of dropping this KONI thingy from my shopping list. What say??

speedzak,i am not an expert, but i feel you should go for the strut braces.basically because,i feel its way cheaper and if you can get a better experience with it and more importantly if you are satisfied with it,there's no need to go for a shocks upgrade.
i am a person who feels we should go step by step-experience something first so that you can experience the other thing better.so first fix the struts and check it out for yourself-see how it fares.then you can if required go for the suspension change

I am! I am! ears! ears!

1.1 is a monster I think for this car. By the pulling this 800mill can do with a K&N extreme and a freeflow, I can just imagine what the 1.1 can do!

Great sir!! !!!!!!!!!

A doubt here: is it possible to fit in the iridium spark plugs + HD cables in my current engine (.8 ltr) and then remove those and place it in the 1.1??

Count me as crazy, ignorant, dumb or whatsoever if this question is stupid!!!

Understeer is considered to be better than oversteer....

Get a fat tyre on stock small rims u'll have all the oversteer u want

Guyz!
Got the freeflow installed. WOW!!!! is the word!
Boosted the low end torque and does a big difference in acceleration all the way. And it has given a new life to the drive.
All this without making a lot of noise. I wanted to keep the exhaust sound low and it's almost to my liking. Just a small bass note in the back.

Now to move with the suspension tuning. And Koni is OUT!!!
