Guess the 1.1 engine been put in; so which one was it? Is it the Wagon R, imported engine or something else (the carb engine at the garage)???

The pic in his gallery is of the 800 CC engine(it reads 12 valves). Zak can you post an update here

Zak bhai any updates on this and i already have a 1.1 engine and was thinking about have suspensions,brakes upgraded. Already have a CAI filter,FFE on the ride.

hey there, i had a alto way back in 02, in bangalore,did a few mods to it to make it stiffer and faster and boy she could thrash 1.2 palios other bigger babes.. it was blue with hellas upfront, strut brace upfront, k&n free flow intake, nitto free flow exhaust and 1.1l with splitfire triple platinum plugs, the car would scream and fly!! it had a unusually stiff suspension anyways.. pity i never could put alloys..had no extra cash as a student, but changed the tires and rims to 13, let me try post a pic..oh and i never ever got less than 15kmpl

@chargerman: It looks neat and i suppose alloys would make this baby look smashing. I also plan to put some Iridium spark plugs to compliment the CAI and the FFE.

all the best with your alto, its quite a fine little car, though the build quality was far better then in 01-02.. one def upgrade you must do is change the mirrors to the vxi ones like i did. makes the car look wider and driving becomes a lot easier...
