GTO! u think i wouldnt have said that! hahaha! i have told him about it, and he said he will surely join up,he asked me to mail the link to him, i will be doing it today or tomorrow morning when i sit to mail him. Surely will bring him on here! then we all can have a detailed plan for this mod.

@ WEST: i said i met the owner, so dont put out smart remarks like that. My friend who introduced me to him, has driven his vehicle, and drove it to 110kmph.

@CarCrazyKid : could u write that out in a more simplified manner? cant understand anything of what u wrote. Do u mean to write "How about a true SUV, maybe then it can go above 110kmph" ? if this is what u mean to say, then what does it mean, care to explain?

Looking at the vehicle, yep scorpio engine has the grunt to take to speedo to 110, I believe. But the issue is the longeivity, without proper mods to the drivetrain, Axle, and the suspension, i think it will more of a showcar than a real SUV. Just my comments, nothing personal. Saying that the visual mods are great, it looks absolute beast. Hope, it drives as a beast also.

The 4 lights on the bonnet and the headlight console are just lip-smacking. I've a 2004 December Glx Scorpio and would like to get that job done on it + the winch and the Air Snorkel. How big a hole will that burn in my pocket? Anybody who would do it here in Gurgaon?

Re: MAD Scorpio.....Brilliantly modified

This reminds me of the 2007 Toyota Hilux that was modified from an ordinary pick up, to an 'extra ordinary 4x4'; ready to take on extreme ice artic weather.

Take a look:

Arctic Trucks | Vehicle Conversions | Gear Patrol

This particular Scorpio also features on the website of the famed Mr. Sudhakar from Hyderabad, who has been modifying cars ever since.

Sudha Cars Museum is the first and only handmade Wacky Car museum in the World.

Maybe Kishan Lohiya & Sudhakar must have had a joint venture on this project.

A brave attempt, considering the limited resources they have worked with

Need Help in exterior mod for my Scorpio SLE in Bangalore

Hello everyone,

Planning to modify my Scorpio SLE 2011(exterior) in Bangalore. Bumpers, grill and the headlights etc.. As of now, am happy with the power - next would be a tuning box and Bilstein B6 suspension for sure.

I am also attaching a sample of work which is done in Photoshop inspired from Jeep Cherokee .

Kindly share a few contacts who does similar modifications in Bangalore.

Very much appreciated.

Re: Need Help in exterior mod for my Scorpio SLE in Bangalore

@R.K.Ramesh should be able to help. There are a couple of exterior mod jobs he has executed to perfection (I think - going by pictures).

Tail Gate Mounting For Spare Wheel

Guys
couldnt find any resources on the above subject - hence putting in my query here.

does anyone have any experience with fixing a spare wheel mount on the rear tail gate of the SCORPIO just like the SAFARI ?

will a wheel mount from SAFARI or SUMO / BOLERO be a straight fit ? any concerns on the strength of the SCORPIO DOOR HINGE to take on the weight of the spare wheel ?

is it ok to remove the tail gate door pads and have this welded over ?

please share your thoughts ..

thanks !
