Race Concept's Lexus GS300 (2JZ-GTE) - 6 speed manual transmission build!

The car has been on the road since over 2 weeks now. Been busy with other works hence could not update.
The Stock 2JZ-GTE 280hp twin turbo motor still feels boring as hell. The 6 speed getrag transmission is smooth as butter. The clutch location and function is just spot on. Clocked over 150kms in city traffic to check if the mechanical puzzle is in order and it was.
The car is now getting a full standalone ECU upgrade with individual cylinder control.
Post which we will give it the much needed horsepower upgrade. The car is now quite eager to get off the line in comparison to what it was with the lazy auto transmission.
The Getrag ratios are quite tall, the 6th gear is tall enough to let the engine clock 360kph at 7000. Yet the twin turbo makes it linear enough to putter in 6th at as low as 1500rpm.

That's a lovely build, this GS is the quintessential sleeper.

More updates on the GS will follow with time. Been busy with a few imp projects. The standalone wiring and ECU has been completed.
Time for a strip down of the engine to install all the goodies. The chassis and the rest of the car will also go thru upgrades.
