Nikhil, can understand the feeling of making the most loved car better every time and in all aspects. I hope this time, it's better than the best! (Not that last times it wasn't great )

Wish you and your tuners all the best for a great performer. If you iron out the nitty bitty and small issues, the car should be as reliable as any.

Would appreciate some technical specs of the engine.
Hehe. Thank you. A quick google search will answer your query

The H22 was already a high performance engine, even in its normally aspirated avatar. How much more have you squeezed out of it after turbo-ing?

Nothing as of now.... The car had to fulfil a small but vital role yesterday. So, it was brought to a condition where it works but just barely.

Now we have to work on refining everything. Some small component in the gearbox is preventing from the clutch from completely disengaging so the gearbox is very hard. Steering is wierd because of some worn tie rod ends and bushes.

No power steering, no AC as of now. But it ran when I needed it.

Another video shot by Chandru who works at Blackworks.

The engine sounds properly ANGRY! This was without an exhaust. The engine in it's raw form.

Sounds like an angry savage beast that is absolutely dying to be set free.

Turbo charging options for Honda civic 1.8at

Looking for ECU flashing devices for 8th gen 2011 Honda civic 1.8at. I have already finalised Turbo and plumbing setup ,looking for a mild 10psi with everything stock. Any experienced people who have some suggestions as to what is available apart from Hondata . Hondata was perfect and within 1000USD budget but unfortunately it does not support Indian market ecu.

Stock internals might not hold 10psi.

Might as well change to forged pistons ,but that all can only start once we find a Flashing device .
I wrote to Petes , haven't got any suggestions from them yet.

Did you try Race Dynamics? They have stand alone ECU's that work with pretty much all cars. Also your car being an AT, have you thought about the extra torque going through the transmission? Will it hold?
