Exactly what my question was!!!
I got my calculations from the forum moderator of tamon.org, they have the same 800cc Suzuki F8b in their mightyboys!!!

But will these guys build the headers to those calculations???

Hey Edmund, you might want to try out www.teamswift.net They have a lot of support for 800cc 3 cylinders.

Hi,

He will make the headers/mufflers full kit as per your specs but, no guarantee for performance with your specs.

Roaring Engine,
thanks for the lead but fabricating a SS pipe / header is not the same as chrome plating the mild steel headers. fabricating with Stainless steel requires a lot of skill and good welding techniques.. not like the usual roadside welders who can put a patch on anything. More over it involves calculated bends ( bending SS is another issue)..Also depends on the type of steel tubes used etc..thats the reason you wont see many people doing SS headers. Its costly but its worth.

guys ...be sure of whom you are getting your work done from ..people will claim a lot of things ....but badly designed headers can ruin your engine ...i know of someone who had tried copying someone else's design and was then caught bad-mouthing the former ...also he ended up with having a few cars with screwed up engines ...

Hi Satya,

I absolutely agree with you but a question. Are you trying to say that Automech is the pioneer for Free flows in India or Mumbai. If so FYI he is not he has also copied someone elses design be it a local fellow or someone from abroad. I agree that it is a specialised job but not so special that nobody else cannot do.

In any cases I am not promoting anyone just trying to make people aware that there are options available which IMO are better/at par and possibly cheaper since Automech is become too commercial.

@ Shazikon - He can make SS headers for any car but I would recommend you stick to MS as SS heats up a lot.

I dunno what Automech does ....whether their designs are original or are copied from somewhere ....i only know that i am very happy with i got ...so i would definitely prefer automech over others ....

Hey, I totally agree with you ... A lot of so called mechs across the country promise ppl of free flows and headers that supposedly increase performance by almost 15-20 bhp and a lot of ppl buy that only to realise later that the free flow only caused problems or the free flow didnt increase power actually but it did increase power mentally !!! Louder the sound = more power .... thats a common funda across the country ...

But if someone knows what he is making a free flow can actually make a dfference that is there to feel .. I wud never buy the figure though but rather feel the difference for myself !!!

I have an automech free flow with headers and so I'm not grumbling though I know of ppl who I didn't know then who wud do a better job as far as power gain is concerned ...

Cheers

I agree with you khaadu, my previous FF setup [Now running stock exhaust setup!] was designed primarily for sound, even though i specificallly told him that i wanted performance!!! I stood around in the workshop and observed 40% of my setup being made, there was absolutely no calculations, just chop-bend-weld!!!! Since he was recommended and i had already given him the dough there was no turning back!! That setup is now history and i hope my new one is nothing but performance oriented.
