Hey JKDAS...

i need help with these air filters..i am in New York right now..i wanted to get "Injen High Performance Air Filter " for my swift ,back in bangalore..they have an option for inlet.it starts from 2.50" ,2,75" 3.00", 3.50" & 4.50" inlet diameter .i am confused of what would actually fit on it.

can you tell me which one i should choose..i would also like to know your opinion on APexi Power Intake Universal Replacement filter.how much does the K&N performance filter cost in india.?

Someone tried K&N RX 4140 on their Swift?? I heard its the best one for the swift, comes along with the intake system. Cost about Rs 6,500.

I even heard the swift tuned by Ace Tuner Leelakrishnan from Kovai has this kit. I heard it develops !!!hold your breath!!....... 150BHP. He is done it for a textile shop owner in chennai. The guy who sold the systems told me 240kms/hr speed is peanuts for the car.

Dont know how true this is. Someone has any info??

Swift?!! At 240kmph?!! And that speed is peanuts? So then what is the max? 300? Sounds like a lot of BS to me Even with that squat look the Swift will start flying at those speeds...

Hi,
I read that Maruti doesn't recommend K&N filters for Swift. Is that true?

1) I donno it output; but the kit is available foir 1.5lac or so. PM KB100 for more details or even Shuhaib

2) Dont forget that Swift Sport sports a 1.6l engine which churns out just 125bhp and maybe lauched in India for 6.5lac.

3) Freakz please contact someone at methodsonline.com for more info.

WOW! read so much on K&N filters in this forum and myself decided to go for a one ;-). To be safe, I have decided for OE replacement filter for my year old WagonR VXi.

I have only one query to members already using replacement filters in their MPFI car, have you noticed any change in exaust note/engine sound after the install, i.e. has it become louder or anything?

I am asking because I really like sweet & silent notes of my car and don't like to make it louder. I want to fit K&N for FE and Performance not for any sound effects :-)

yes it does give a slight growl to the engine not really loud but does change the way it sounds !! sounds sweet to me !! also there is slight increase in acceleration but is more noticable with a freeflow!!
