Yes, I know Mobil Delvac 1 is good. I am planning to use it in my SX4. But for Grand i10, manual says 15W40 mineral/synthetic. I could find only Shell Helix 15W40 synthetic oil online. I will confirm what synthetic oil is used by HASS.

5w40 will surely workout. Infact Hyundai Diesels for some reason perform good with Delvac.

VBox Graph : 0-100 - Stock vs TOT map 1

I am running with TOT map 2 now. It feels way faster. We couldn't check the timing with V Box. It's around 13.8 Sec according to Torque Pro App.

Thanks to Kryptonite for doing the 0-100 run and graph

Re: Hyundai Grand i10 diesel: Remapped by Tune-O-Tronics!

I have driven 2000 KM post remap. Grand i10 has become my daily drive now . Car is doing great and good FE too. I have found mild improvement in city driving. But if I drive aggressively with WOT, there is a drop.

I was surprised to see the car pulling in 3rd gear with 4 people on board on an uphill where I had to struggle in stock map. I do not know if it's psychological, I have observed that car has become more powerful after I drove around 100 KM with full load.

Re: Hyundai Grand i10 diesel: Remapped by Tune-O-Tronics!

I have changed my tyres to Kenda 175/65 R14. These new tyres were a need post remap. It's fun on corners now for a Hyundai. Top speed is not changed post remap but time taken to hit that speed has reduced by big margin.

1000-1500 RPM : Mild difference

1500-3000 RPM : HUGE difference

3000-3500 RPM : Yes, it's better. But blame the puny 3 cylinder engine.

3500-4200 RPM : Did not notice any significant difference

Totally enjoying the car with TOT Map. Thanks to them for providing me a powerful map with negligible black smoke and no drop in FE.

Re: Hyundai Grand i10 diesel: Remapped by Tune-O-Tronics!

I have not used the car much since last 2 months, thanks to my TOT tuned S-Cross . I used to take her out for short trips once in a week. I have decided to switch to synthetic oil and got Shell Helix 5W 40 synthetic oil and Mann oil filter from Amazon India.

Re: Hyundai Grand i10 diesel: Remapped by Tune-O-Tronics!

I have driven 5500 KM post remap. Actually I started using the car less after I got my SX4 and S-Cross also remapped. SX4 is running with an aggressive map and does 0-100 in 10.8 seconds, while my remapped S-Cross takes 9 seconds. These 2 cars are just mental to drive and thanks to this reason, I find my remapped Grand I10 under powered. I could never imagine driving Grand I10 with stock map now, haha!!. My Grand I10 is almost 5 seconds slower than the fastest car in my garage. It's a 3 cylinder engine with FGT. So, there is not much scope to extract more juice out of it. I have been thinking about adding a manual boost controller, but little confused about it. It would be great, if someone could help or suggest me regarding this.

Re: Hyundai Grand i10 diesel: Remapped by Tune-O-Tronics!

Update : 6 months of Driving post Remap

I have not been driving the car much since few months. Well the reason is my remapped 1.6 S-Cross . My fastest car in the garage is almost 6 seconds faster to 100 than my remapped Grand I10. I can't imagine driving a stock Grand I10 diesel anymore. Since the car is hardly used and there is not much juice to extract out of this 3 cylinder diesel engine, I am planning to sell it off. It's a very good practical city car with nil turbo lag. Remap is very much needed for this car according to me ( for enthusiasts who end up buying this car due to various reasons haha)

There is some kind of squealing sound when the clutch is pressed and it goes away when the clutch is released. The car is with dad and he suspects clutch release bearing. I will check it when I visit home after few days. Wish I could convince dad to sell this car and buy Figo diesel
