Hi Guys,

need some help, i have a Lancer Invexs 1.8 Automatic. I am in US right now and I want to pick up a K&N (stock) for my car. The problem is I have lost the part number I picked from India. Could you guys try and get the part number of K&N for Lancer (I think 1.5 and 1.8 both have same stock air filter).

Any suggestions on what else I can pick for my beuties from here?

Thanks.

hi rishi,

the model number is 33-2105 i just had one fitted in my 1.5L lancer yesterday.

Get the Ralliart Mivec engine.:I Rule:

@ devarshi :- AaaayiLaaa !!!!! MIVEC ENGINE :o lol, dude, let the innocent soul try the k&n first,n if he thinks that its not sufficient enuff, then he might think of switching the engines too ;) haha

@Rishi:If ur car is out of the warranty period, then get urself a conical K&N filter. More efficient than the regular stock replacement ones.

how about the Modded ECU? I dunno about the prices and all. Just know that its available.

Hey could you get me some more info on ECU mod that I can pick from here? This should be exciting. Thanks.

The 33-2074 is for the Mitsubishi Lancer Cedia sold here in india. The old Lancer was sold in the US under the name Mitsubishi Mirage.

The new Cedia uses the 33-2074 filter where as the old Lancer or Mirage in US uses the 33-2105.

The sizes are different for these 2.

which city are you in? I can just search for the different parts and accessories shop near you. Also maybe you can check with a local mitsubishi dealer on where to find Aftermarket parts.

Hey this may be a bit late, but sometimes they let you keep your warranty even with a conical filter. GM/Fort Point have not questioned my conical filter whenever I send the car in for servicing.

what's with the similar avatar pic everyone is sporting?

what's it about?

looks like the 1.8 invecs is discontinued by HM recently. Their website now only has the 1.5 and 2.o listed.

OT -
Had been to a HM showroom yesterday - they still have price lists of the Invex. Didn't ask them about availability though.

But it's kinda targetted at a very niche segment IMO. At 9.5ish OTR in Kolkata, it's around 25K cheaper than the Cedia select. I guess only customers who are hell bent on a Tiptronic under 10L would go for it.
