Dyno tuning

Being in Mumbai I was looking for a place to do Dyno tuning of my car, to calibrate it just right. Is there any place to do this? Does anyone have a dyno?

Noo Dyno in Mumbai Dude. Only Dyno in Pune. That too dont know where. Bonito Chabbaria Told me about this.

ARAI or VRDE will have a dyno with them
even some guys in chennai who tune lancers n esteems for rallies have a dyno

Are u Sure Allen??? About ARAI, even if they do have it I dont think they will let any outsider Use it.

i guess they'll charge to run outsiders cars on a dyno.

I dont know who ARAI and VRDE are. And why wont they let anyone use it. They can make some serious money out of it by tuning ppls cars. They can just need to do a single run and tune for a gran or so.

ARAI and VRDE do not tune cars. They are authorised by the Govt to homologate and test cars. Autocar India and OD test their cars at ARAI and VRDE. I dont think theres any place in Mumbai where u can tune and dyno test ur car. BTW what car u wanna tune and dyno test??

After doing anything to my Ikons engine i need to tune it up to get the best chip mappping to squeeze all possible power out, otherwise i will do the heads and run a new exhaust system, and not even benefit. I was actually thinking of getting one from back home and setting it up myself, but the cost to buy one second hand is just a bit overwhelming.

Im not sure if there is a rear wheel dyno around.....atleast the rally guys you mentioned V12, i think they have flywheel dynos.....

I guess the Tata factory in Pune has one which is Chinchward Industrial area and I guess no outsiders

check with any good engineering college in your area.They normally will have a dyno which they allow "outsiders" to use for a price.
