Went with a combo of tape + tobacco leaves in my Jetta. Some nooks are still unprotected by tape since they're hard to get to. I'm going to get them taped during the next service or visit to a knowledgeable detailing center.

Rodent attacks were a bit inconsistent. I'm not sure if the above combo is proving to be a deterrent or that the creatures are simply biding their time (and laughing away at our attempts)

Regarding this product - as mentioned in the opening post of this thread - in last few months I did search for it across Internet, but either it was unavailable or very costly.

Finally I saw a decent listing at https://www.ebay.com/itm/283142478065
but India shipping was not mentioned, so I contacted the seller, who directed me to their own website :
