My next car that we have started work on is a 300hp lancer using the 4g63.Should be done in a few weeks.will keep u guys posted.

I wish to make a 13.sec car
I think that both my cars(city and lancer)will do it

Hey KS,

Isnt the 4G63 engine the same one that was used on some Lancer Evolutions (5 if I am correct?). Do you think a stock Indian Lancer underpinnings would be able to handle that kind of power?

If you dont mind me asking, how much would such an engine cost presuming its second hand?

GTO, the 4G63 is the series of engines made for the lancer from our indian lancer to the EVO VIII. These engines have further been divided by individual codes like CN9A, CP9A etc. Engines from EVO V's etc depending on how you source it will cost within 2 lakhs. But can go as much as 5 - 6 lakhs (EVO VII) if you get the whole kit, Wiring, Electricals, Shafts, Suspension sets, Rotors, Calipers, Rear Rotors Calipers, Rear Diff everything without the body and interior
