1st of January 2017 came in with the inauguration of MAD METAL AUTO WORKS 'N MORE in Kolkata which was conceptualized by it's Proprietor Mr. Susil Panigrahi, an avid Car & Bike Enthusiast and an Fanatic Road Tripper who all his life was a part of the Finance Industry and decided to quit everything for something which he wanted to do from the very beginning by following his passion and making his dream come true of opening his own Car & Bike Modification Workshop offering the following Services :

Susil himself owns a Mahindra Thar, a Maruti Gypsy and a Royal Enfield 500cc - goes without saying that all are modified to a large extent. Sharing a picture of his Cars on Display at the inauguration of his Workshop :


Susil had participated in the India Speed Week which took place earlier last month in the Behala Flying Club in Kolkata and stood Rank # 2 in the P2 Category with his Royal Enfield. Sharing a picture of his Royal Enfield at the ISW Event :


The occasion was graced by the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony by none other than the Guru of Off-Roading and the founder of the Society of KOLKATA OFFROADERS - Sir Uday Bhan Singh who needs no further introduction.

There were over 100 enthusiasts and friends present to attend the inauguration from various groups and clubs such as :

• Eastern Bulls - Royal Enfield Riders Group

Considering the above listing, I guess one can understand that Susil himself has a soft corner towards Royal Enfield and thus he shall have a designated service bay just to attend to all the Royal Enfield Bikes and take care of their performance upgrades as well.

The Ribbon being cut by UBS Sir to inaugurate the Workshop. UBS Sir said while cutting the ribbon "we all wish you all the best for your cause and the initiative that you have taken. Wish you good luck" and cut the ribbon :

Though some equipments are still in transit and due to arrive, most of them have arrived wherein some have been installed and others have been kept in store and shall be made operational with effect from the 2nd of January 2017 and the workshop should be fully functional in a week's time or so from now. This one is a nice article. Finally we got some good workshop in our own Kolkata.

Was invited to Celebrate the 1st Birthday of MAD METAL on the 1st of January 2018, the first day of the New Year !!

The USP was that the Chicken Kebabs were self marinated and cooked on a customized Bar-B-Que built by Mad Metal; with coal in the Parts Washing Tray atop which was a curved wire mesh sheet on which the Kebabs were cooked.
