So, I was little bit concerned about this.

Check my new post here > (Deelife External TPMS : Installation & Review)

After detailed queries on the Sensairy product and leaning towards it for a while, I decided to go with a TPMS with External Sensors. This one addressed most of the concerns I had like availability of spare sensors, battery replacement for sensors etc. They offer Internal sensors as well.

Re: SensAiry : An app-based TPMS

Yesterday I had ordered a set of SensAiry TPMS for my Ford EcoSport. It got delivered today by Amazon, I will be getting it installed during this weekend. I have shortlisted two tyre dealers for the installation:
1. Tyre Park (Indiranagar, near SensAiry office)
2. Tyre Empire (Whitefield, near my home)

I am looking for a neat and professional installation at a reasonable rate. Any suggestions?

Installation is a bit tricky - might make more sense to get it installed in the presence of Sensairy folks. (In my case, they installed one stem wrong and had to redo it by junking the installed one. Wouldn't have been possible without Ajay being there.)

In that case, indiranagar makes more sense

Re: SensAiry : An app-based TPMS

Got the Sensors installed today at Tyre Empire, Whitefield. I had spoken to Ajay in the morning and he said he was travelling and recommended Tyre Empire itself. It took about 2 hours for installation of 4 sensors, road-force balancing and 3D alignment. Overall I am quite satisfied with the outcome. Would vouch for both SensAiry for a superb product and Tyre Empire for a clean and professional installation.

It's been 2 years since I've been using Sensairy and it has helped me in keeping correct tyre pressure. I had got the display in February and it was kept in the area in front of the gear lever where I was finding it difficult to see the reading without getting distracted. After lots of deliberations, I've affixed it on the windshield next to the IRVM. At this location, it takes just a glance of eyes to see the reading . The wire supplied is of short length so I had ordered for a 10 feet wire and have routed it via the A pillar on passenger side.

Re: SensAiry : An app-based TPMS

I have been using the Sensairy TPMS on my Fortuner since more than a year now and I’ve been quite happy with it. The sensor battery levels show a full level even now. So I think it should be able to last 4-5 years.

For those who don’t have access to a Sensairy workshop, you can get it installed at any local tyre shop as I did. The installation procedure is quite easy if you follow the manual.

One can even notice the changes in tyre pressures due to the temperature. If I was running 30psi at ambient tyre temperatures of 28-32 degrees centigrade, the tyre pressure builds upto 32-33 psi when the tyres reach 50-55 degrees centigrade.

If one of your tyres are under-inflated and you have run it for a while, you can see that the tyre temperature of that tyre is significantly higher than the other tyres and it explains why it leads to tyre bursts. IMO, any TPMS you buy must come with a temperature sensor as well.

My only grouse about the system was that I wanted a separate display unit for the system and it seems they’ve done that too and I’m ordering one shortly.

For those who are already using any TPMS with temperature sensors, what is the safe maximum temperatures for tyres? On a hot summer day, I’ve seen my front tyres go upto 55-57 degrees Centigrade.

Re: SensAiry : An app-based TPMS

Had got an email from Team @ SensAiry as the App has gone through a major overhaul and the update will be sent soon over the Play Store.

Got the notification yesterday for the update and here are the changes found. Better colour coding and differentiation are seen for easy understanding.

Changes in the App

Yup, works fine with Maruti Bosch system also. Although I found it to be laggy. The screen takes time to respond if you select Sensairy

Please excuse for the tyre pressures, will be updated this Sunday.

Re: SensAiry : An app-based TPMS

Hi,

I am looking for a TPMS for my new Vento. Based on my initial research, Sensairy seems to be a very good choice. Should I order online from Amazon? Also, please suggest any good installer in Hyderabad.

Yes, you can very well order on Amazon. It is sold by Tymtix only. You can search their website for trusted installers in Hyderabad.

You can get it from Amazon or their website itself. I ordered it from Amazon. I got it installed at MRF T&S Centre, Medchal.

PS: Tried replying to the PM you sent but looks like your inbox is full and my reply isn't going through.

Re: SensAiry : An app-based TPMS

This just cropped up in Dad's Facebook feed. Apparently it's a JK Tyre product called Treel. This TPMS is internal but fixed onto the rim using steel belt, valves are not used like Sensairy.

This has an OBD connect device also and the data is also on servers. Even leaks can be intimated by an email.

Re: SensAiry : An app-based TPMS

Tymtix has launched external sensors also. A friend needed sensors so I was checking on its website and found about them. All details are available on its website. What is puzzling that it's little costlier than the internal sensors. But it does come with easily accessible battery replacement. I've checked with them regarding display compatibility. I'm not sure regarding wheel balancing whether it'll be required or not.

Re: SensAiry : An app-based TPMS

I ordered mine on the 15th of this month after reading reviews here. It is an internal one with the display.
I didn't get any communication on the shipping details and so I called them today asking if it is possible to pick it up from their office as it is close to my workplace. They are waiting for a new batch to come from their production unit and let me know when it is available so I can directly pick it up and get it fixed at the nearby tyre shop as well.

Is wheel alignment/balancing required after fitting this?
