Should I go for replacing the stock Exide FEF1 DIN80 with another Exide or go for Amaron Flo 80AH? Confused as the Amason website doesn't show the Cruze but does have the Optra Magnum diesel.
<3 years? Check with Exide first as it might come cheaper if the OEM is still within their pro-rata range. If not you can check with Amaron, they should have the matching models.

re: Amaron batteries

Folks,

Can someone please advise what is the correct replacement battery for a Mitsubishi Pajero SFX.

I have been checking from BatteryBhai site and the recommendation is Amaron AAM-HW-HC620D31R.

However the recommendation from Amaron's site is Amaron Flo 105D31R.

Can someone from the Amaron dealer / distributor team confirm the correct replacement.

What is the difference in these two batteries?

Amaron's site has no technical specification or datasheet available for any batteries.

re: Amaron batteries

re: Amaron batteries

My SF battery is now due for replacement. It has done a good duty of 4.5 years. The cranking has become real lazy. I am looking to replace with an Amaron. Not able to find it easily since most shops are flooded with Exide.

Need to fix it and check.
The BOSCH silver battery gave up its ghost on the 12th of August . IT could have lasted longer but due to the carelessness of the service center guys, it died. They had left the cabin light on when the car went in for an accident repair. Tried recharging but one cell had gone kaput.

So the third battery is now Amaron Black 65 AH for the Innova. Got it for 4500/- with an exchange rate of 800/- or the old one.
Car starts in one crank but there is a slight delay. This could be due to the alternator bushes becoming old. Need to get the alternator serviced.

Rgds...

Re: Why Amaron battery not as successful as Exide / Amara Raja?

I'm doing a pre-investment study on Amaron Automotive Batteries to figure out the reasons why they are not as successful in the Indian Automotive Market as some of the other's such as Exide, Amara Raja, AMCO, etc. As per marketresearch.com, Exide and AmaraRaja control upto 90% market share in Indian market.

I have the following reports with me that has Amaron no-where in the list.
1. http://electronicsb2b.com/top-electr...ers-in-india/#
2. http://electronicsb2b.com/top-electr...yers-in-india/
3. https://www.marketresearch.com/Netsc...India-7586117/

I was hoping to get some direct-gyan from the luminaries on this forum.

@Mods, if this thread is inappropriate for this discussion please create a new thread or let me know the section under which i can create a thread for a detailed discussion please..

Isn't Amaron a brand name owned by Amara Raja?

re: Amaron batteries

Got the Amaron Pro 35Ah battery today, for my 06' Baleno.
I ordered it online(carbatteryexpertDAWTcom) and received it 90 minutes later!
Exchanged the old 'Exide' battery and paid ₹3550.
Hopefully,this outlasts the brilliant Exide.

Any reviews about Amaron Bike batteries. I want to change the CBR250R battery and stock is exide. Exide that particular model is not available easily.

re: Amaron batteries

Last day of last month got a new Amaron Flo 35Ah for my Swift @3100/- from the local tyre & battery shop. Online (battery bhai) price was 3150/- and Amaron online was @ 3072/- or thereabouts. Buying from the local guy gets me free N2 top up for all of my rides and general goodwill. Payment was by cheque and the battery itself was made in September 2014

Would have bought the GO @ 2950/- but neither the oniine chat agent nor the call centre at Amaron were unable to confirm whether this model too had 'Advanta paste'. The site did confirm the same for Flo hence went with that. The Pro was offered at 3450/- but apart from the extra warranty/guarantee of 12 months I did not find much advantage in doling out the extra cash. All prices against exchange of old battery.

re: Amaron batteries

OEM Exide served me well for 4 years before going dead suddenly one day.
Replaced it with much talked about Amaron Flo on 30th March 2014. Just completed 9 months with Amaron and it gave up on me 15 mins back!

Their service person is going to drop in to check it sometime tomorrow. Lets see what unfolds.

By the way I noticed that the indicator on the battery was not 'Green'.

re: Amaron batteries

To update further, yesterday I got the contact number of Amaron Pune which services my area. I was told that the technician would be visiting me by 10:30AM, its 12PM and no news from the technician. Called Pune Amaron 3 times since 10:30AM and they asked me to wait for another 30mins, 1hr and so on.

Called Amaron service toll free number and they gave me contact number of their technician in Pune, his name is Mr. Pawan Pawar, contact number 7588040483. He assured me to look into the issue ASAP.

Guys in Pune may call Mr. Mr. Pawan Pawar directly if they face any service related issues with their Amaron Battery
