Best source for gauges would be www.egauges.com

I got all my gauges from there. Good prices too.

What you an get is an expensive HU..the 1000 US$+ kind.... the Clarion HDX2 callled the DRZ9255 in the US ( should eb able to get one for about 800USD ( maybe less if on sale ) . Will be a good buy if sourced from there.. the Specs are far above any other brands/models available..absolute Audiophile stuff.....
You could also get soem CD's from there...as quality of CD's purchased abroad are far superior than what are Made in India ... a Good HU will certainly be able to spot the difference...

I am not sure if the car and audiophile go together though nice HU and speakers are always desirable. The audiophile stuff should be a room where you can placed or place the speakers accordingly to get the true enjoyment (unless you buy lux cars like infinity where they 2 speakers on each side of headrest and 2 in front). DVD audio is the best !
Anyway back to Headlight stuff question - yes there were no lancers in US in 99 - started in 2002 only

yes true that true audiophile quality is difficult to achieve in a car due to teh space constraints as far as soundstage/imaging possibilities may go....but we audio nuts can certainly try.... and a great HU can certainly be a strong part of the chain....
