Central Lock Siren For Innova

Guys,

I have the Toyota Innova V model. So i got the Keyless entry by company.
But when i open the door with the key there is no siren, i want to fit siren for security.

What should i have to do ?
Is there any ready made kit ?
or is it possible to get only siren and add to this system ?

I dont want to install whole Remote Central lock from any brand because i like the switch in the key provided by toyota.

Cheers,
Mugen_Power.

if there is a keyless entry system then there is a very high probability that it will also have a siren. Look under the hood and the siren must be there. Another thing is that the keyless entry system might need programming which the toyota dealer would be able to do for you.

Strange as almost all of the keyless entry systems come with a burglar alarm/siren these days.

these are not security systems but just keyless entry systems.so its basically a remote central locking system.for security features you might have to add a security system.contact the toyota dealer.maybe he can help you out.

The toyota innova in addition has an immobilizer feature as well as a security feature.
The system cant prevent Somebody stealing accessories inside the cars ,but the siren is not much of a deterrent I am afraid to say.

Sirens dont serve any purpose in our country, nobody even bothers about a siren going off/on.

Re: Central Lock Siren For Innova

The same issue with my new Celerio ZXi. The keyless entry locks and unlocks the doors for me, but I have a tough time tracking the car in a parking lot when there is no beep when I unlock. I am sure that there is no siren as I got it checked during my first service.
Can I only install a speaker so that it beeps along with the flashing of the indicator lights? Any pointers will be appreciated.

Why buy and fit an additional speaker. You can use the cars horn itself.
That's how it works in vw cars and Toyota oem too.

Most probably your car's security system is in valet mode and hence you aren't getting a siren. just disable valet mode and the siren will turn on for lock, unlock and so. For instructions on how to enable this, read the owners manual of the car.
