sorry dude no pics, would have loved to post the pics though... I was in my corolla blasting some music and suddenly saw this civic in the rear view mirror... wanted to ask him where he got it done but he had taken a turn behind me... lost him

sorry buddy,was running late for an exam..couldnt afford to stop n take snaps of it.but the more i look at the mugen civics snaps..the more m beginning to believe that it was a mugen civic that i saw.will get a snap of it if i happen to run into it again at worli..btw..it was parked right outside the venue for the 2nd t-bhp mega meet,mumbai.!

its ok guys, just wanted to see a moded civic as i think it will look damn hot and unfortunately i havnt seen one yet in delhi.

speaking of more mods to the civic, there is a very nice JDM valve cover available. Details here: Honda-Tech.com: for R18 owners . Its $30 but i dont know if japanparts (the online shop) does worldwide shipping. Check out more on honda-tech as well...some good intakes are available. Im sure people in thailand and malaysia must be getting some good stuff

. I dont know if KPRO will work on the JDM civics because the ECUs will be different from the American models and that too the auto transmission in asia has the paddle shifters. Maybe some tuners in japan have something out already for the R18 seeing thats the only engine out there currently in the civic...untill the TypeR comes out. Oh BTW, the dash kit from Scoushe is out in the US for all of you looking to put in an aftermarket head unit...i saw some pictures from SEMA. So you guys, if you have any relatives in the US or Canada, tell them to order you the parts and ship them! Only thing wont work is body parts seeing as the JDM Civic and USDM Civic are different bodies. There was a rumor floating around that the TypeR may possibly come to Thailand or other asian countries apart from Japan...so if we beg honda enough...you never know...they could release it in India for like a limited production run or something.

Anybody know what is the compression ratio of Indian model Civic? I'd like to know if its been dropped for India.

10.5:1 is the compression afaik.I don't think it has been dropped for india.its just been remapped.i think the ignition has been altered as its an effective tool against knocking due to bad fuel in india.
