Hi all,
Last month bought one Indica-DLG-TC and now want to use teflon coating for protection from minor scratch.

Somebody told me that wax polish is better.
Can you tell me which one I should go for ?
As I understand, I need to use the wax polish may be every month. But, for teflon I don't need to.

Teflon is a coating ... get it done from a DUPONT shop. Dupont has various paint protection programs/schemes u could look into that. Teflon coating comes with warranty and free retouching.

You could your car WAXed at the local car wash/petrol pump/garage, they charge Rs100.

well i just had teflon coating done on my swift..but that didnt prevent it from getting scratches....didnt see any difference with it at all....though i got it done from maruti.

couple of years back, I bought a Wax and Wash polish from penzoil and it was a very convenient to use and at the same time the result was good. But I could not get it any more any where in Chennai. Can some one tell if me if this product is still available in India?

"Formula 1" its awesome and its not costly too. I have been using it on my bike and car for more than 2 years now.

depending on how many scratches you have on your car.. lets say u have a few minor ones.. just get it buffed at a paint shop and then get it teflon coated, it forms a coat to prevent scratches not remove the existing ones. after that just use formula 1 wax when you start seeing those circular rings.. hope this helps . i guess your car is black too.. ;)

hey guys howz `Shineguard` car polish? is it good?

guys we get some commander brand combo of wax, dashboard cleaner, nd 2 other items of balaji industries at the bp petrol pump opposite amarsons bandra. we also get d same product at d hp petrol pump on sv road. how is the product?? it costs approx 350 bucks... does it damage the paint???
