Thanks,

The muffler sounds ok. Nothing like a petrol...its got more of bass in the sound. If you rev it hard in nuetral...then it sounds crappy...but under load conditions...its sounds pretty good IMO.

Yeah about 3 already have been replaced....they arent really open...they do have a plastic box around the tubes. Replacements come at about rs.130 for each tube. And the reason i replaced was not because of speedbreakers...but because of water ruining them. Still working on the waterproofing.

if i understand you correctly you have to replace the entire piece
i.e. tube and covering
best thing you can do yourself is seal the sides with mseal or the sealant that is used to fix a headlight cover
one of my friends had the same problem with these autorickshaw tubes
but mseal took care of it
anyways you pay 130/-nstead of the 2500/- that neons usually cost....

cheers

Yeah but then i have 8 tubes under the car and 2 in the footwells. The size of the tubes is pretty small...so to get proper effect you have to install more tubes at the right places.

Out of that 3 had problems with water...will try that mseal fix. Thanks.

man i would still stick to the 2k, 2 pcs neons. installed them more than a year ago, ran them all monsoon & doing absolutely fine till day. the cheap ones do tend to give problems sooner or later. but the way drifter has placed his lights are really cool i feel.
