AFAIK, the safety factor for passenger cars is put at 2.5 . In that case the engine output can also be increased to a max of 250% . I am not sure about the engine, somebody comment on this. But its true for structural rigidity and suspension.

P.S. the safety factor for sports cars is put at 1.5, shocked??. This is explained as the number Kilometers travelled by passenger cars is way greater than sports cars. (if my statements need correction, please suggest)

looking at the setup of the air filter..seems it will do more harm then good.

it will suck in even more hotter air than the stock intake system which had an enclosed box. the filter is not going to get any cold air into the system, just plenty of super hot air and very quickly..

also the pipe connecting the filter is going to get cooked by the engine heat.

dude.. reroute the piping or get a heat sheilded enclosure otherwise you are going to just reduce the power with this setup...

Hi,

This is the original FIPK piping sold by Four Seasons. They had supplied him with a really tiny filter which was installed 3-4 " away from the radiator fan.

We fitted it in this position for 2 reasons lack of place wihtout making any alterations and we did not want his money being wasted as he paid Four Seasons a packet for the pipe, hence we reused the pipe altering it marginally.

Hey Viper, I think as per the given conditions which you have explained and the budget constraint ..
I think it was the best possible setup for that situation...
