re: Pics of weird & wacky mod jobs in India!

The ORVMs and rear windshield point to it being an M1000/Esteem with the hatch handle of a previous gen Swift.
I think it was an M1000/Esteem.

I too feel so. Also compare the C pillar angle and the tail corner with those in the attached pic.

If you have the regn number, keralamvd.gov.in should have details on the make & model.

Ok, so now I know the reason why people mention that beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. Honestly I love this design, I know its kind of squeezing two designs - but look at it , the design just suits the car. I would really love to buy this if the car is mechanically sound. May be Tata should really think of relaunching the Sierra with a similar design with a 4*4 drive train.

Call me wierd, i kinda like the front and the paint job, something i would do to a sierra. I have seen one in a range rover avtar here in mods own country. except for the soft top rear, the car looks fine.

Forgot to mention the biege interiors, yuk!

Agree with you! Actually I liked certain aspects of the design, especially the front. Compared to what people normally do with the Sierra(we have seen many in this thread, haven't we?) this feels like a decent job. It doesn't look weird to people who don't really think much about it being Pajero + Sierra.

He could've retained the Sierra's original hard top though, with the wraparound side windows.

@ Joe M/ pramodkumar/ rejoycjohn: Beauty is indeed in the eyes of the beholder. Morphing an already decent car into something else altogether is not my cup of tea. I used to own a Tata Sierra eons ago and I do think that the utilitarian looks of the Sierra had its own charm.

Never said that I don't like the way this Sierra has turned out, I do agree that it's way better that those totally wacky iterations that have been featured on this thread and spotted on Kerala's roads.

Oh, and I forgot to mention that the asking price for this Tata 'Pajero' is a low INR 4.25L !!

How was it mounted actually? Does he feel it is stylish, at the cost of hiding the rear view?

People are being charged for sun films and what to do with these guys covering the entire wind shield with stickers and a spare wheel too?

I was wondering what kind of force that huge wing will produce. Even if it creates good positive lift the weight of the spare wheel can keep the car's rear end heavy enough. For sure he won't be able to use the tail gate because the shocks won't be able to carry that much weight.

The pipe fabrication on which it is mounted is visible.

Here's another example of the spare wheel on the hatch which I had posted on this thread months back.

Hi all, This Honda Brio is done by Kit Up. In my personal opinion; there is no need of a bulging body kit for this car. Secondly, I fail to understand the need of 2 spoilers in the rear. Please share your views over the same.

The front view is good, IMO. But the rear is a total mess. Everything done to the rear has gone wrong. Do you have any photos showing the side profile?
