The tail light modification has been executed very precisely and neatly.
The body cladding/kit doesn't look all that good but still I won't say it looks bad, Toyota offered a version with cladding which looked even worse.
I wonder why the B pillar is half black and half body colored.
Just a piece of vinyl will make the B pillar look uniform.

They must have spent a lot of time to make it :-)
I have known this guy(the owners son) for donkeys years now and he has forever been trying to convince is dad to get rid of that contraption. This car has undergone a few make overs in the last 20 years or so and would be the butt of our jokes during college days.

Agree with others, I loved the modified tail lights! It looks better than the OEM design. Wouldn't mind if Toyota takes a hint from this and incorporates it into next generation Innova. They seem to be getting closer to the Fortuner design at least for the front based on the spyshots we have seen. It would be nice if the tail lights are also carried over from the Fortuner.

BTW, it is not so bad to be labelled W&W either if you ask me.

As you can see, the hood does not fold in entirely which spoils the asthetics, but I guess these are those things with hand made designs that we have to live with. The idea is to first make a mechanism which can be worked by hand and then get motors to substitute the hand. The smaller the contraption, the better it'll work.

You can also try getting a complete unit used in the San Storm and making necessary alterations, although it will be a manually operated system. Fit and finish would definitely be better.
Hi Shwetank - please do create a thread about this creation with details of how you went about it. Really am curious about the amount of effort that went into the modifications and also curious about the motorized top. Workmanship seems really good however the base platform and its dimensions could have been better (a bit larger perhaps with less front overhang).

Thanks.
IMO the tail end if far better than the original cone lamps . The quality of workmanship is also excellent. The cladding also blends nicely with the rear.

Would be nice if you could post some snaps of the front.

So, here you go, the lightbar, in a new avatar. It now has quad exhausts, maybe inspired from ad3952n's setup.

Imagine all those white lights dazzling the oncoming traffic at night! First of all people don't know they are supposed to drive in dipped beam to avoid dazzling other drivers.
Like i20 Sports, Asta, etc. I think this one could be titled i20 Dazzle!

That's the most sorry looking face I've seen yet on a car.it's looking like a dog going to the vet knowing that snip-snip is gonna happen!

re: Pics of weird & wacky mod jobs in India!

Owner's request - Lets slap on some audi'esq bumper, put some flower patterns for the rims, fix a cloth hanger at the back and paint it green so that i look eco friendly. And yes, blue interiors too. Who wouldnt want blue interiors on a green car?
This is downright sacrilegious.

Utterly non-sensible modification to a car which seldom needs anything else other than a well designed body kit. Since the owner has extensively used Green and Blue color why did he not use Red too? All 3 primary shades would be combined into 1.

There is something called Civic-sense, sadly, the owner and the car both have lost it!

Thanks
