Just when you think you have seen it all!

Check out the duster on the right. Seems he wanted a mustang :P Yes, that's a metal horse fixed right on top of the car :(

I was in too minds whether this be termed a rip off or a tastefully attempted mod, being one of the numerous 'me too' Volvo B7R doubles. Probably many a casual travellers are misled, considering how closely it apes the original

This one managed to get the distinctive B7R swooping window line correct.

Many potential customers of Vitara Brezza are complaining that there are no 4WD or AWD variants on sale. Looks like one customer was able to get an exclusive 4WD variant from Maruti. See proof below

And he has registered the vehicle in a brand new state as well

Except the swooping window line, everything else screams it's not a Volvo.

Take a look at this:

This is an AL Panther rear-engined chassis, with an SMK-Prakash body, built like the Volvo B7R Mk-I

Indian driver installs FOUR extra gears to drive everywhere in reverse ...

Just came across this interesting coverage on History TV of this guy, Harpreet Dev, who's been driving his car backwards for the last 11 years.
It initially started out as an emergency measure as his car's gears got stuck in reverse, but he started taking a liking to driving backwards. The interest grew to an extent where he learnt more about car mechanicals himself, and installed 4 extra gears to help him drive backwards with more speed. As shown in the program, he has driven around 65K kms backwards and with a top speed of 80kmph. He also holds a record for the same.

Spotted today at Mira Road. It's a LHD. Don't know but these guys were roaming around in the convertible like car while it was raining. Had to click a pic and I got stares from all of them. The person driving the car was at the same shop as me and he said "Import Hai" 😛 Pics of weird & wacky mod jobs in India!-imageuploadedbyteambhp1472315019.398678.jpg

This is amazing. Needs lot of patience and practice to master reverse driving in the way he was doing it. This certainly doesn't belong in this thread. Hats of to this guy.

Yes, it does need practice. But this is not the way to drive on the roads, you are putting fellow road users at risk. Most of them won't anticipate a car travelling 60Kmph in reverse.

These guys stay in my complex. The donor car is some old model toyota sedan. I had posted the car pics when it was undergoing modification in a road side garage. Earlier it was blue and white. Its full on jugaad work.

They showed on the same program that when he was performing this stunt, he had couple of accompanying vehicles at the front and back similar to a convoy.

And I hope he doesn't drive at night. It will be a serious safety issue if he does, since I don't see any mods for the lights.

That car used to be a Toyota Corolla (E90), from the late 80s/early 90s, in a previous life. Those cars are worth next to nothing anyway, but they do go on forever if taken care of. Not gonna happen for this chop top though.
