What is the Base car? Looks like a HM 118NE. I might be wrong here!

EDIT:
I did not see the line below the picture.
Sorry.
IMO this does not look weird either.
It may be wacky to have a mod like that but the end result surely isn't weird.
Call me weird, but I like it!

I have always feared seeing my 118 NE on this thread. I dont know if someone might have posted in one of the pages on this thread.

One may feel the air scoop and the spoiler looks funny. I personally like how they look like. Sometimes, I feel the spoiler looks a bit funny as its width is a little smaller. It should have been atleast an inch wider at either sides.

For the sticker on the rear glass, it really means it. It sports a double woofer and double amps installed at huge price in the 90's

Anyways, here it is ....

@Funky: The Car is very well maintained, I am yet to see a NE118 in such good condition.
The Spoiler would have looked much nicer if it was couple of inches short.

The front looks nice except for the out of place ferrari badge.

All in all its not weird but a very well maintained NE118.

Oh really! Thanks.

Yes, I forgot to mention that. I too felt it would have looked better if it was a couple of inch shorter. May be when I restore my car some time in future, I will give it a thought and correct the height and width.

And with the Ferrari logo, I dont know what to say. I retained it as my friend (previous owner) liked it a lot and got it from USA with great difficulty. I feel putting the stock PAL wouldnt look good at this time. May be in future, I will try to find some suitable Nissan logo

Amby convertible

2 Spoiled ambassadors. First and third are of the same car and the second one is another car. The irony is they have tucked the car's cover in the back seat.

In today's world, to find a 124 grill and badge would be a hell of a task

The Amby looks as if its shocked at its own condition.
BTW, the tail lamps of the Tata-mobile-sedan look like those of the Std. 2000. Am I right.
There's another white Tata similar to that in Mysore. But its rear is slightly different, and with different tail lamps. I remember seeing what looked like a yellow alto from the front. But when the car approached me, I realised it was a 118ne with the front of an alto. This too was spotted in Mysore.

A Tata - mobile converted into a sedan.
I saw one too in a College garage once , the front was done up like a Merc and it was done pretty neatly.
