Cam across this on Instagram. Clicked at Shivaji Park, Mumbai. Not my photo.

Any guesses what could be the base chassis?

Yeah, it will really give tough fights for bus/trucks for rear overhangs. Whatever they have done, my word is rear and side parts of that car are the only proportionate parts in terms of design. Front is Awful

Don't know about its donor car. But I doubt whether it will be a Cielo.

Actually not sure whether it is having sun roof. If at all it gets a full or half glass roof at rear part, it seriously would look dam cool.

Will post more on this car when I get to see it more closely. I have become very curious for this Limo.

This looks pretty good, and even the mods. are pretty well done IMHO!

Ape Xtra or Mahindra Champion Alfa or Atul 3-wheeler (auto-rick)

EDIT: The registration plate confirms that it's an Ape Xtra 3-wheeler, registered in 2002

re: Pics of weird & wacky mod jobs in India!

So here it goes...
Found the Limo. Its for personal use, still under modifying process.
The donor car is of course Daewoo Cielo, with no engine mods.

The ugliest front side I have ever seen on car...
Notice there is no separate bumper on front.

Headlamps with DRLs in between.

Pics of weird & wacky mod jobs in India!-2.jpg

Original Cielo engine with no mods.

A rear view...

Pics of weird & wacky mod jobs in India!-4.jpg

A boring tailgate with no sophistication looks which a limo should have.

Pics of weird & wacky mod jobs in India!-5.jpg

Very huge boot space

Same here like front. No separate bumper

A Tata Sumo tail lamp on tail gate.

Chopped off tail lamp

Never seen before... Felt dashboard
I wonder why every manufacture wastes money in making fancy plastic dashboards.
This one can be removed and cleaned in a washing machine

Alloys are the only thing I think are some what eye catchy.

A side repeater lamp on tail gate area side panel

And last but not the least. A long roof limo with a ordinary sun roof

You made my day mate Reminded me of craft work with cardboard we did in school years , which was way better than this !!!

The butchered tail lamps from Sumo was the icing

I would love to see more of the interiors.... and more eagerly waiting to see the finished product

Is that bricks placed inside the dashboard . That will be the ultimate road rage fighting weapon.

God alone knows what other weapons are placed under that felt lined dashboard. A machete perhaps

AFAIK all the Range Rovers come with Rear Wiper from the top. They are usually hidden under the rear spoiler therefore not visible until operated. In this pic, it look like the wiper stopped just shy of the spoiler & is hence visible.

Good one Sujay. Thanks for the photos. Wacky job indeed. My hunch came right about the sunroof. The guy surely has some aspirations. The felt dash board idea was too good. Washable dashboard ! That would be one of the USP I believe . Would be interesting what mods have been done on the rear interiors. Complete with chamkila wallpaper and ordinary sofa perhaps.

Sujay. This definetly qualifies as one among the TOP 10 WEIRD CARS.

For his ability to convert a beauty, the owner deserves .

Yeah seriously... School days craft work was far more innovative and better than this mod.

Hahaha...
No no. Its not like that. It was a piece of foam not brick.
But for a second thought you can keep this things under that dashboard.

Yeah man, the washable dashboard will be a very mind blowing concept. Imagine you can do anything under the felt skin to give a new dashboard design every other day.

Talking about the interiors, I was not able to capture the interiors as the rear doors were jammed. But it was pretty neat, not like the awful exteriors. Full rexin (leather styled) white sofas arranged in 'C' shape. Right door was there but it was permanently closed. Only left door was kept in working condition. It also had a small glass teapoy and was really nice.
Interiors were nothing fancy, but practically designed.

Two weird Honda Citys in Chennai.
The purple one has a peculiar purple wrap and Dubai on the number plate
God knows what the white City's owner was thinking when doing whatever he did.
