re: Pics of weird & wacky mod jobs in India!

From an article in Malayala Manorama daily.

Link ( for those of you who can read Malayalam)

They didnt even get the spelling of Rolls Royce correct.

The article claims that this is done by a father/son pair with many high end cars in their garage, so many people are appreciating this work , it costed them 25K (donor car cost) + 1L ( modifications) etc.

What I like most in this car :: Its an aircraft carrier !!!

Time to leave this planet.

I thought showing off the the Sesto Elemento replica built on a Gallardo was ridiculous and now I see this!

What's with the weird hatch at the rear of the car? Is it for the aircraft passengers to parachute back onto the rear seats??

They have a penchant for such "sensational" news items, and this one just lives up to the "high" standards maintained by the said newspaper.

The comments posted under article are worth reading.

The convertible-ish rear hood looks like the opening of missile silos of those old movies. The dad-son duo might've even added some firepower to the Rolls Roys :P

re: Pics of weird & wacky mod jobs in India!

I really love the concept of a spare wheel at the rear. Its VERY CLEVERLY done:
1. It enhances looks
2. It SUPPORTS the hatch to land on to something.

And WOW ! whaqt a fascia and what a paint job.

is that a remote control on the front left door? hahaha.

Also, that thing on left side of the bonnet, looks less like a rear view mirror and seems to be one of those small aftermarket headlamps.

I guess the guy who washes the car, might be mistakenly pulling and breaking few of the things daily and affixing them back with fevikwik.

Just insane.

Absolutely right! When I saw it that day it was looking awful. This is just the rear profile of the car but the side profile was even worse. There were some black graphics running on both doors. Totally insane.

Thanks

OMG! What happened to the newspaper guys? Auto news section is becoming comedy show. First the Lambo then this!

Good that the owner didn't do this to any of his other cars. Otherwise it'd be a heart-breaking scene.

Scorpio really did not need a modification like this. It is already a very good looking car, why did this guy even think about something so radical.
