Re: PICS : Tastefully Modified Cars in India

Too flashy, but I liked it. Would look even better without that light bar on the windshield, side mounted auxiliary lights including the red bar/base and the red tip of the snorkel. Just my opinion though.

Although weird, that is not a mod job. It is how the designers at Mahindra want their new Scorpio to look.

Reminds me of the old time tempos with a steel bar welded to the rear bumper and grab handles for extra passengers to stand on the back.

Looks like a Tata Sierra with Scorpio headlights & bumper

WTH! They ruined a Mini Cooper for this stupid Red Bull campaign!

Anyway, all the Red Bull in the world couldn't help this fella; had to be taken on a truck

re: Pics of weird & wacky mod jobs in India!

The Red Bull company used a Santro before this that was modified by DC i think. They've gone up a few notches and gone for a Mini Cooper. Nice!! Must be doing really good business in the country.

I've only seen Swift and Mini Cooper used by Red Bull. Never seen a Santro with a bottle. Was the Santro used in Bangalore?

I've seen the Santro and an Alto, around 2005, they did the rounds at my PG.
I suppose for the purpose that they're made, they're good mods. By a mini? Why?

I don't think there was a Santro. There was a Wagon R and the Swift , one of which is on the previous page.

If it was in the 2005 time frame, it makes sense. I was still in the smaller cities in Kerala and had not probably heard about Red Bull back then.

The Mini might have been imported or on a visit to India as well. That is one of the most common Red Bull modified cars in Europe I guess.

re: Pics of weird & wacky mod jobs in India!

Found this today.

I know the paint is totally worn out however the two tone bonnet & the wacky spoiler is the reason this car found its place here.

I am 90% sure it was a santro but then again they chop it up and mod it so much that maybe it was a Wagon R. Definitely one of the two. My friend was the marketing chief of Bangalore. I'll ask him for some pics which he should have.

This is not in India - I think this thread is only for Indian cars or cars in India.

Hello zenren,

I in fact checked before posting , the title nor the first page did not mention anything about location being specific.

Mods please delete if this is not appropriate section.

Thanks.

Addition of bumper rubbing strips on bonnet.
Tasteless stickers all around and not to mention the clothes drier in use at the rear..
