Even I noted her standing inside the FRONT gates of National Park at Borivali, few days back but it was pretty dark so couldn't make out the color.

Though the wanna-be SUV / pick-up mod job may be weird or wacky, we must appreciate the quality of work (looks decent IMO)
This mod is actually far better than the chopped-off 2 seater which affects the vehicle dynamics itself.

Most of the jeeps used in the forests are gypsys, however Club Mahindra seems to use modified Mahindra's, and this Xenon is used by Taj Safari's (green color, extra seating).

A lot more comfortable than the Gypsy's, but still crude & unreliable - ours broke down in the forest just before sunset (which is when everyone has to leave the forest).

On the bright side, while we were waiting for another passing car to hop into - we spotted two angry tigers about 50m down the trail.

Maybe Tata found some other customers too for the car?

Good that he chose a different spoiler and not the usual cloth hanger .

Considering the size, this looks more like a 3M sticker job than an actual sun roof. I am surprised to what extent people go to just 'show' that their car has a sun roof.

Running imagination wild: The Bird is a secret drone. As soon as the car is stuck in traffic the driver releases the drone (bird) which of course has cameras in place of the eyes and it scans and relays back the cause of the traffic snarl to the driver! Its simply called living in Future (Im)Perfect tense.

For second i thought he had the U Turn sign fixed on the spoiler

As for what prompts people to do such things, who knows? People are strange. Some more than others.

For a moment, even I thought that the "No-U-Turn" sign-board was also mounted on the car until I saw the second picture (of course, I missed deathwalkr's comment)

Being a Yoko ES100 runner myself (only a little more life left and time for a change), now I'm trying to find a strong rope/twine/chain or whatever.., to commit suicide. Good Bye Cruel World!

On a serious note, messing up with tread patterns can mess up the grip levels a tyre can offer as per the manufacturer notes. The ES100 being a tyre with unidirectional tread pattern is supposed to be mounted properly in order to perform at its best especially when the road is wet. But with this kind of ride height, not sure what grip this monster truck is going to have.

And look, he's even carrying an over-sized spare, covering half the rear windshield!

Either intentional, as few ignorant people do it for uniform wear (or to compensate the uneven wear)

or

Unintentional during tire rotation (again with ignorance) LH to RH or diagonal swap

And this is how people destroy tank like cars. Really pains when someone does it to the last of the "true" Mercs in India! This was at Mapro Garden, Panchgani. The pointed star logo was wripped off and the bonnet was badly dented
