Reminds me of Breaking Bad. I guess Walter White had the same vehicle.

A Fortuner modified to look like a Jeep Renegade! To top it all off this customisation package costs ₹13.5 lakhs.

The fit and finish especially the hood make me go

Taking a break from customising motorcycles, Indian custom vehicle company, AYAS Customs, has introduced a package for the Toyota Fortuner that transforms it into a large Jeep Renegade with a first-class airline cabin.

It’s quite interesting to see the fascia of Jeep’s smallest product on the front-end of a large Toyota SUV. And it looks pretty much in your face, featuring a massive vertical slat Jeep grille, round headlamp and indicator arrangement similar to Renegade, LED DRL strips, all enclosed in a black plastic panel. The front bumper with silver garnish and fog lamps is also new, and it gets a set of high-intensity lamps mounted on the roof. Surprisingly, the rear-end has been mostly left untouched, thus revealing its true identity.

The rear portion of the cabin has been transformed to a first-class airline seat, featuring gloss wood trim, a large LED TV in the middle, a touchscreen infotainment screen right below it, controls for the dual tone leather wrapped seats, compact refrigerator, ambient lighting and foldable table for laptops.

This is such a unnecessary mod, and on top of this, the exorbitant price of the kit is like

This seems very common nowadays. I've seen them at Chennai as well. Bike riders say its a great relief during their daily commute, especially for ladies who do not have their hair or face get messes up after an hour of ride.

re: Pics of weird & wacky mod jobs in India!

So the red weird looking thing used to be called the Phantom car a few years back.. it was a DC modified Mercedes. Saw this in LaxmiBai Nagar, Near INA Market.

The last picture is of a Toyota MR2 modified to look like a Ferrari. Why would someone do that to an MR2 . Hideous IMO. This is in a Petrol pump near Taj CCD.

Either there are more of these or this car has been through various colour changes. It's based on a Mercedes W126. It's a shame really.

Here are pics I found of it in silver, but if I'm not mistaken there was also a dark blue one or maybe it was the same car that once used to be dark blue.

That's DC, alright.
Top quality work by man blind to aesthetics is the giveaway.

Honestly, I LOVE IT! Looks like a cute toy and the body-work is fairly well detailed. Doesn't it look like a cute hotwheels car to you? I don't know what it is but I just love it.

Oh no! I thought it was bad enough that it was based on a Mercedes but a proper W126 merc? That's shameful on another level. Such a classy looking car that is. An absolute shame that someone even thought it was okay to be slaughtered and handed over to DC to be made into a Frankenstein monster. If the owner wanted to spruce it up he could have done so in so many ways retaining the originality and inherent classiness. For example this one done by euro tuners Inden Design:

I'm kind of confused now. So, I'd call it "Oh! Hmmm... Neigh!" (Pronunciation remains the same anyway )

Was the owner intending to use this as a Golf Cart? I don't see any other practical purpose other than that for this kind of a modification.

The guy in the 2nd pic is either wiping his face or is in complete shock.
