While I really appreciate the move for eco-friendly solar panels etc. but I really shudder to imagine how people are gonna be comfortable on that bench seats, especially the ones facing the rear, one sharp turn and the side passenger is gonna be flung outside

They are not meant for long distance travel. To reduce weight, manufacturer chose a simple bench seat. And if the auto takes a sharp turn, probably the auto itself will topple before passengers are thrown out !

Did anyone notice the sticker on rear window? "The first solar powered auto in Kerala". With a private registration number and the advertisement of a restaurant in the back, I wonder whats the primary use of this vehicle?

Nothing unusual there. Many cars come with unequal car wipers in the front. Even my Renault Duster comes with different sized blades.

Cheers

If the driver's side blade (not arm, do take note) is shorter, it is most likely a quick fix solution. Just swap the two blades in modern cars and watch the sweep pattern

re: Pics of weird & wacky mod jobs in India!

Spotted a Swift with an ugly looking spoiler, along with a roof carrier then the windows have those illegal chrome tints.

Although the driver was talented enough to drive with both ORVMs folded in.

During the morning crawl along JVLR, spotted this Swift with a rain visor (or is it active aerodynamics? ) on top of the ORVMs

I quite like it ! That really suits the Car !! . and the execution seems to be good apart from the dent on rear bumper.

If Maruti see this, they might get new idea after 7 seater Wagon R
