I thought the external body work was awesome (add dollops of sarcasm here), until you open the door. It got downright blinding with its awesomeness at that point!

Initially I was confused as to which thread this one falls into.

Is this a mod? Not sure because it's just the wiper.

Is this a DIY? Err, it's sort of, but then wrapping a cloth in place of a wiper blade!

By the way I was just walking along, saw this, clicked and posting it for fun. That's all. This was clicked almost a year back.

There probably is no wiper blade, just the arm. Thats to prevent scratches when it accidentally gets switched on. Been there, doing that.

I didn't get that. Is it that the wiper blade has worn away and the cloth is put in place of that to prevent scratches?

There is no wiper blade, only the arm that holds the entire blade assembly. That's what has gone, which puts the metal hook on the arm directly on contact with the glass. It's a similar story with my car because no-one is able to source the wiper.

I did the same for couple of days when some idiots took a way rear wiper blade. It was difficult to procure and luckily service center had a spare.
