Methinks the owner of the yellow CRV must be an ex NYC cabbie who made some money & returned home. He missed his old cab, hence the colour & the taste in accessories.

@iraghava: Friend of a friend may be true, but there's no accounting for taste... Turds of a smeller pile up together...
Just kidding, buddy!

That must be the car the famous tuner Ikjyot made for the famous pop artist Mr. Daler Jaikishan. More details can be found here:

Oh well I've never met the guy but he's got all this done from the same garage that I go to. And he's a friend of the owner's. And just for the record he's a guy in his late 40's/early 50's, just to put taste into perspective.

And ELF I know there's no accounting for taste I told you this various times already

Do you know what vehicle this is?

Guys!

Found this car at my wife's uncle's backyard.

The owner of this car (My wifey's cousin) is just 13 years old. This car is strictly used only inside their compound walls. He also uses it in his farm rides. The driving condition of the car is far from good. It's very hard to maintain a straight line. The braking is very very poor. The clutch is almost absent.

Take a look into the engine bay. it has pieces of rope holding things together!!!

This car had a crash and got damaged very badly. Instead of writing it off, he decided to make a new body for it. And this is the result.

It sure grabs a lot of attention. I even had some guys stop their bikes to stare at this one passing by.

I drove it thru the beautiful hills of Dakshin Kannada also known as Coorg hills. It was very nice to have some wind in the hair after some time.

Guys, do you know what car this is based on?
(V1p3r, Mclaren1885, Jay, Psycho etc.. can take a hike from this question please!!!)

Looks like a Peugeot 309 I think, with a Cielo base model steering wheel!

Don't know if it's based on much of anything, but was the original car a Fiat, the one that crashed I mean.

considerinf the body work .. and the ride (as mentioned by the one who drove it ) well it rates about 7/10 for a whacky mod job .. thankfully its not outright ugly !!! decent enough finish on the paint and stuff atleast

Don't really think its a wierd or whacky mod job. Infact it's like a car rebuilt

Saw this AutoRickshaw in Bangalore. When did Tata start making autos??
And it's named MATIZ!!!

And here's an 800 with some serious mods. It's from a brand named R Reddy. Umm Umm, not Greddy!!!

@Manveet. You're very far from the correct car.
