Yes,the smoke belching mill did service in the Esteem D as well. Some hardy, cross platform motor it was back then, much like today's Fiat's Quadrajet mill!
The engine was very good for it's time TUD5 Peugeot 309 GLD was the car it came with along Maruti (ZEN and Esteem) and for the Hyundai Ascent. And the same engine is doing duty in Premier Rio (premier having bought it's right from Peugeot)

I think its the Normal Red color available on the Sx4, looks different because of the lighting. But the mods sure looks hideous.

Bro, i just took a good look at the pic. I had the very same spoiler fitted on my Accent(black, sold a year ago) . IMO, it wasn't this bad. I'll try some pics. But sit doesn't it properly of the Sx4.

isn't it ironic, he/she's got a HUGE spoiler, but standard iron rims with a wheel cap. its like wearing a nice shirt and hoping nobody will notice the shoes!

@Scorcher: i agree. it will look better on an Accent or a Lancer. the SX4's trunk lid is kinda curvy, hence the edges are in the air. but then it wouldn't be for anything but show.

OT: the same spoiler is known as Switchblade (me thinks) in NFS MW, but its a much better build than this!

Pejot is pretty funny though!
