i think TN 37 is Coimbatore if i'm not mistaken. my uncle who used to stay in Coimbatore had a CD100 with TN 37 registration.

Santosh, TN 37, TN 38, TN 66 are all Coimbatore. Tirupur is TN 39.

This honestly does not fall in the weird or wacky category IMO. Quite an effort, and the end result looks pretty neat - a modern tribute to the original.

Why would one want to waste money on a stock Lancer with not so great performance. and Even show the engine off. Or has he / she excessively modded the engine too?

Quoting an post that is a little old. But this actually happened to me in one of my late night drives. It was almost midnight and there was no other vehicle on the road. I was driving very slowly. Suddenly this thing was right on my tail. One look on the ORVM and I was scared to death. My heart skipped a beat. This thing is HUGE and UGLY. I pulled over to the side and gave way. Had to go behind it for sometime to find out what it really was. Was a bad experience I should say. Worst mod job I have seen.
