Yes those pictures were taken in fromt of the Toy Store and I hope you are not the owner of the car.

The said car is a diesel one as evident from the engine bay pictures

That Lancer looks a bit out done here. Except for the sunroof that's on the engine bay

not sure of this is whacky or not, was two-minds about it. when i overtook it, i saw that it had side skirts which were dangling and was held together with double-sided tape!

in the front (from what i could make out in my RVM) the only part that has been modded is the fog lamp area - kinda looked inspired from Audi TT

From what I can see, I'd say that this is a Swift Sport body kit and if the right kit's chosen and complemented by a set of wheels of the right size and brand, it would look smashing!

Why would one want to waste money on a stock Lancer with not so great performance. and Even show the engine off.

Or has he / she excessively modded the engine too?

Its not an evo its a diesel mill.

They've ruined a perfectly good looking car! The 300ZX is a smashing thing and they've turned it into rubbish! Why would anyone in the right mind do something like this? It actually hurts!

+1 to that. These TT guys (esp. Keralites) are really good at modding their TT's noses.
The ANHC nosed TT is undoubtedly the best.

The roofline in the RVM pic is a dead give away. Decent Boot proportions tho
