As you have mentioned, its actually a decent modification job. I liked the colour combination as well. Very interesting.

And the person driving should be called MURARI of 'Chala Murari Hero Banane' fame.

re: Pics of weird & wacky mod jobs in India!

Today was Sunday and I went to a roadside car mechanic for some minor denting and painting job, where I saw this Mahindra Classic standing for some mechanical job. I must say that the car was nicely painted.

I loved it because it was a jeep, although among other things I did not like the indicator light mounted on top of the front mud-guard.

The stickering job continuing from a metal panel to the glass, just 2 colors used - one of which (Red) could be the stock colour itself - and last not but least, a tribute to the king of pop! I like it!

Wow, I nearly mistook that for a Lamborghini Murcielago. Well done.

re: Pics of weird & wacky mod jobs in India!

The front and side profile of the Zen is well done. The back looks overdone and the palio tail lights (I hope I am right) dont suite. It would have been better in the stock shape itself (back)

I have to agree with SDP on this; this jeep is neither weird nor wacky. The owner had indicators put up on the fenders, like the jeeps of yore. No harm in that, as jeeps tend to be customised in some way or the other.

While we're on that subject, it's not a real MM Classic as this is clearly a 4X2. As far as my knowledge goes, the Classic was only available as a 4X4.

You forgot to mention the genes from a palio too (tail lights)

heartbreak evident from right quote, leading to the writing on the right.
but what the hell does that right one mean????
I've tried double, triple and even quadruple entendres, but no sense,

A SWB without 4x4, definitely belongs in this thread. BTW, I doubt it is a Classic. Most probably a convert. Need more photos to be sure.

It seems to be a PS job. Look at how the picture pixellates near the doors.

The Jeep is definitely not a 'classic' but seems to be a CJ45. Maybe the Jeep experts can comment on that.

Somebody must be really desperate to own a Fazer. Just imagine, the complete headlight cluster complete with the mirrors must have cost him at least 2-3 thousand rupees. Relatively speaking, its a lot of money to spend on mods for a scooter.
I sincerely wish that the guy gets his own Fazer soon.
