re: Pics of weird & wacky mod jobs in India!

Spotted a bright Orangish yellow honda accord today on marine drive. Was extremely bright - staring at you in the face type of colour. Was unable to take a pic due to traffic. Will lookout for it again and hopefully be able to take a pic when I spot it.

Not sure if this has landed up here before. By the weirdest of looks and age (1999), this might be a repeat post. All exterior panels changed, not a single clue to what it was before (but for the doors). Can also be titled, "How to kill a classic design".

BTW, the car is for sale at carwale, where I got the pictures from.

re: Pics of weird & wacky mod jobs in India!

Found this on the way to office.

It had a bean bag kind of thing above the rear seat.

The donor car seems to be an 800 or a matiz?

Yeew!

I'd like to ask the owner how exactly did he manage to get air to the radiators? Some radical design?

Na, it's a Mitsubishi Lancer, and the headlights have been nicked off a Chevrolet Optra. So sad.

EDIT: Looks like he was going for the Nissan Skyline R34 GTR look, judging by the pictures of the rear of the car.

Yup... looking at the doors and mirror, it could have been a Lancer... RIP!
