Ragz, this seems more like an old 190 platform to me, going by the design of the headlamps, side doors, etc.

Not bad looking, & would be quite regal too, if the fool had avoided all the frip-frappery on the wheels, skirts/running boards, bumpers & grille. Also the super sized MB monogram.

Wacky job? Definitely!
Good find, bungir!

Yup real merc. Notice door quality, door handle, headlights, single wiper, OEM alloy wheels etc.

I agree, seems like the 190 platform but the Alloys look like the ones on S-class sold two generation back - you know the Tank? Forgot the code for it.

It's a merc all right. no doubt. The finish of the arches and the bonnet going up to the windshield and ofcourse the single wiper.

Like elf said remove off all chrome from the car's body. Then give some chrome alloys and you have a bling bling pimp mobile.

oooops rags looks like you posted before me while i was typing.

You're referring to the W140.

This alloy wheel design was available as an option on the W201 190 after 1989. It started out originally as an option on the W124 & spread to other Mercedes models available at the time, including the W140 (which came 10 years after the W201 launch).
