That is for rear passengers see the mirror and safely open the door. That said, it does appear weird.

Definitely not a wacky one! A pretty informed car owner I must say! Those mirrors help rear passengers avoid hitting vehicles or pedestrians while opening the door. That too on the right side, its indeed the right approach when someone needs to open the door on a busy road!

Looks like this place has applied Social distancing to cars also ! Look at the notices to park in alternate bays !

Haha Yeah, But people barely follow it. The Pic was taken in the early morning. If it was at peak hour, The scenario would be totally different.

There was a thread on a similar discussion back here on Team-Bhp on B pillar mirrors. Seems like an accessory sold overseas. The interior one would be much better than fitting the exterior type any day.

Saw this on Instagram. The rear quarter seems to be from an Accord. The Front, I don't know. Looks hideous and seems to be inspired from a Phantom. All this, to be a Wedding car! Don't miss out the lights on the rear bumper
