The Windshield is a give away that this is a Lancer, in this case the B pillar has been moved backwards to make it a coupe. Did you take any pic of the floor. But what is the inspiration or is it "creativity"

No, it's not. Looks to be some sporty hatch, or something of the sort, because the dials have that silver finish on the surround. Reminds me of something, though I can't put my finger on it... a Mitsu perhaps?

Yes you are right, the Steering/gear knob is not Honda type, more Toyota.

Update:
He! He! got it...seventh generation corolla (2 generations older than ours).

No matter what car is the above yellow one, it surely has been ripped & should be rested in pieces as it will still look like crap even after its so called Mod-job is finished.

Plus, looking at the rear, I guess this will get, Hyundai Getz's, tail lamps, inverted.

Now see this, what will you call this.....I made one of my friend see this pic and he said, how can someone insult a swift like this...But in rajender nagar someone is insulting a swift like this.....And guess what? This guy has even installed wide body on swift which i dont think was required anywhere....Sorry was just able to click the pic from back, but u can imagine how sides would be too...

That aint a Viva it looks like an old toyota hatch. the vinyls are whacky, but no other mods looks like.
