The towel rods really look funny. But i think the lights are for a purpose. There are many off-roaders, wildlife explorers who go to the jungles in the night to take pictures and do some nature work, maybe these lights are used that time. I remember seeing a vehicle like this on discovery. Although, I am wondering what is it with those towel rods ?

Perhaps the only car that offers a near 100% privacy with guaranteed frontal visibility! (Seen in my office parking)

LMAO, thats funny.
But, even here I have seen people coming up with innovative ways.
I saw one car with complete dark tints and he had cut small circle so as to just see the ORVM from inside during night times.

Spotted this 'IDEAL MOTOR' in my area.

M800 pickup.
He had a free flow exhaust and was creating noise pollution like anything.

What a hideous looking vehicle. Wonder what dawned upon him before unleashing such monstrosity on Dzire.

OMG... If I see that car in person, I would puke on it, definitely!!

This vehicle(can we call it so?) takes the second prize in this thread! (ofcourse, after that Scorpio from Kerala).

re: Pics of weird & wacky mod jobs in India!

Spotted this safari in the autorized service station which has come from Maharastra for the engine work.

and what i heard from the service advisor that the vehicle was made with the taste of the owner.

OMG the inside was also the same Red & White Combination including the Dash Board & the seats.

And For every one information its a 1999 Model Safari.

Let the pictures talk

There's a limit to which one can modify a car.
This one looks hideous..

I guess this is one of the most common modifications seen on the Swift/Dzire. In this case, bad skirting design, along with lack of grille, spoil the looks further. I personally do not like it. I believe, most of us share the same opinion.

They would most probably burn that thing,
after taking away the Fire extinguisher (last PIC) .
